It is a rare sight to find her without smile and charm. Aditi di, as most in Drishti fondly call her, is always busy taking care of people. She is a self-acclaimed foodie like all her other colleagues in Drishti and is always ready to treat others!! She has had a long experience in theatre and using theatre as an effective tool for the oppressed. Enthusiasm, commitment and innovation are some dominant traits of her personality. She knows to appreciate people, admires hard work, commitment, optimism and innocence in others. She is in love with colours, patterns and seasons for long. But, theatre is her first and last love. Aditidi has witnessed Drishti’s growth through good and bad time since it’s birth. While working with Drishti, she rediscovered her inner self, identified her innovative skills and enjoys working collectively. She is inquisitive about learning new things and is on her never ending voyage in search of aesthetics…

Cleanliness and honesty finds the top seat in Nimmi’s list of likes. She hates aggression, manipulation and ‘chalta hai’ attitude in people. With a Masters degree in Development Communication and English literature, she always wanted to work for people in the grassroots. Whenever she finds time, she loves to read. She is one of the pillars of Drishti and has been with Drishti through it’s thick and thin for the last 15 years. Patience and to work in any crisis are her greatest strengths. Loves to call herself ‘Cautious’ in each and every situation. If anyone finds her ‘zindadili’ please return it back to her and win prizes…!!

Kavita believes that grass root people are extremely innovative and imaginative and can definitely make films to tell stories of their communities. Since childhood she has been an avid reader and she loves watching films. Somewhere deep inside her heart she nurtured her dream of becoming a filmmaker someday. After completing her post-graduation in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics she started working with Earthcare Films, New Delhi. She always had a passion for working for Community Media for long, so after an experience of 9 years of filmmaking she left her career and high prospects to join Drishti. She loves to laugh the loudest and is always there for you with a smile and suggestion no matter what situation you are in!!

Projit received his Masters in Mass communication, fromRabindra Bharti University, Kolkata. He has years experience of conflict journalism and documentary film making , He used to work for mainstream media, but he left his mainstream media career for joining drishti and to work for community media. Sleeping is his favourite pass time and is also the winner of the: Most ‘Techno-Savvy-Person’ in Drishti, who at first will always say no, but then he is there to help you with your queries related to software uploading, subtitling, editing, camera, sound and the list goes on and on and on…

Gaurang knows the art of communicating in ‘gibberish’ and is busy cracking jokes. He is a fantastic teacher of mime and watching his students performing is a feast for his eyes. Facilitating and organizing film screening is a part of his programme and he enjoys it to it’s fullest. Though very young himself, Gaurang has managed to create a strong volunteer base amongst the youth of Ahmedabad for Nazariya. His innocence and easy-going attitude helps him to be in tune with all the young and vibrant college students who Gaurang works with.

With each passing day Nirav is trying to understand himself better. He believes in living in the present and enjoy each moment of life. He is surrounded with numbers and money and is also responsible for managing finances. He never make comprises with his work in any circumstances and tries to complete it with sincerity and hard work. Nirav has been with Drishti for many years and considers it his second home, always lending out a helping hand to all its new comers.

If anyone is messed up with an excel sheet, unable to format their documents for print or even if the printing machine is not in tune then, Nilesh (Nilu for short) is the only saviour! Within a fraction of a second he solves everyone’s problem. He enjoys experimenting with web and graphic designing and desires to learn more about designs. When it comes to music he is a die- heart Himesh Reshmaniya fan and is not open to any thing else.

Pooja is a business Administration graduate and has also received her Masters degree in Mass communication. She is a good listener, but if she is in the mood and starts speaking then she can even defeat Kaberi! She believes in simplicity and has a passion for music and is a great organiser. Her flamboyant attitude sprinkle joy and enthusiasm among colleagues. Pooja works at coordinating the Community Radion programme of Drishti.

An Economics graduate, Kaberi has also received her Masters degree in Mass Communication. Kaberi has the gift of the gab and can speak non-stop and still be completely comprehensive! Her smile is her biggest asset and she is a fantastic communicator and is also trying to learn the art of diplomacy. Always in love with rhythm and dance, she can’t imagine a day without music and aspires to act in theatre someday. Just a few months old in Drishti, she enjoys every moment of being in the office from working to helping others. Kaberi loves dreaming and is working towards translating her dreams to reality. Kaberi works in the Central Coordination Team of Community Video in Drishti.

Don’t go by his silent looks, he is always ready with his mimicry acts and is good at it! Hiren likes to talk to people, but takes time to mingle. He is a very good observer and loves to trust people. He works had at managing Drishti’s numbers and enjoys his work too. He wishes to make his mark by his hard-work and talent.

24x7 Rajat loves to listen to music! To find him without his headphones on is a rare sight. He worships Sharukh Khan and is always trying to adopt his styles and attitudes. One of the oldest and strongest Drishti members, Rajat is very hardworking and provides technical assistance and also takes care of all our strudio equipment and films. None can take equipments without answering his multiple questions. Rajat likes the fact that in Drishti hierarchy takes a back seat.

P.S. He is called Rajjo by all.

Bharat is always giggling and experimenting with his hair colour and styles! He is busy pampering everyone in the office. He never says NO and is always there to fulfill everyone’s demand. He efficiently creates mechanisms to make the Drishti office run smoothly. He makes sure that everyone gets hot or cold beverages throughout the day in their favourite coloured cups and also being a perfect host to guests. Drishti’s lunch time excites him the most where he shares lunch with all from one huge thali.(plate)
